Principal Solutions Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Principal Solutions Engineer at Snyk. The role involves interfacing between customers and product engineering teams to support the adoption of Snyk's solutions, educate customers about Application Security and Software Supply Chain Security, and shape decisions on new features based on customer feedback.

Requirements

• 10+ years or similar in the sales engineering, solutions consulting, developer or security space
• Good knowledge of the developer, DevOps, Application Security, and ASPM ecosystems and practices
• Experience working closely with highly technical customers at the Enterprise level
• Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and how they work

Responsibilities

• Educate customers and partners about the adoption of Application Security and Software Supply Chain Security
• Develop deep product and competitive acumen across Snyk's full product suite
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations, enable well-scoped and managed product trials, and coordinate RFP responses from time to time
• Interface with engineering, product, and customer success teams to craft solutions that actually solve our customers’ problems
• Shape and inform decisions on new features based on your experience and feedback from customers and channel partners
• Work closely with channel partners to increase their proficiency in selling and supporting the Snyk solution through their sales process and beyond
• Provide thought leadership to the market on topics that are related to Snyk and DevSecOps to help drive awareness and adoption
