Principal Technical Program Manager

Join Later as a Senior Program Manager to lead key initiatives in Technical Operations, including FinOps, Planning, and overall Practices. This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and collaborative influence to drive operational excellence. You will establish and evolve the FinOps discipline, develop dashboards and reports, identify cost optimization opportunities, map SDLC processes, apply Agile/Scrum practices, and ensure effective Jira tracking. Requirements

• 7+ years in Technical Program Management, ideally in SaaS
• Experience in FinOps, financial management, and cost optimization
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and Jira management
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
• Experience managing cross-functional technical programs
• Strong technical understanding of software development processes, systems, and architectures
• Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve the FinOps discipline to monitor and optimize cloud usage and spend
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking key metrics, including budget vs. actuals, variance analysis, and cost trends
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and implement solutions
• Map SDLC processes and recommend improvements to accelerate customer value delivery
• Apply Agile/Scrum practices tailored to the organization’s size, stage, and complexity
• Ensure effective Jira tracking and reporting, enabling accurate metrics and insights
• Use data and metrics to identify process improvement opportunities
• Partner with technical and product leaders to influence and implement best practices
• Oversee complex, cross-team technical initiatives, mapping dependencies and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
• Serve as a key partner for technical and product leaders, driving alignment and execution
