Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of privacy procedures
  • Support the IT Security team in conducting regular privacy impact and data protection assessments
  • Help ensure compliance with global privacy laws (e.g., PIPA) and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST Privacy)
  • Collaborate on audit preparation by collecting documentation, reviewing logs, and supporting internal audit processes
  • Monitor and report on data security incidents and privacy breaches, contributing to incident response efforts
  • Assist in creating and updating compliance-related documentation, reports, and training materials
  • Track regulatory changes and help analyze their potential impact on company processes and policies
  • Participate in security awareness training sessions and contribute to the development of training content

Be a part of our 9-week Internship Development Program, where you will have the opportunity to apply knowledge gained through your college courses. Becoming a Privacy and Audit Compliance Intern is a great way to enhance your business acumen and gain insight into our industry. Interns are placed into meaningful roles that have an immediate and integral impact on the business.  The internship will be based in our Nashville, TN office and will run from June 2, 2025, through August 1, 2025. You must be available for all 9 weeks of the program.

The Privacy and Audit Compliance Intern will work closely with the IT Security team to support the organization’s efforts in safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with privacy laws and audit requirements. This position offers hands-on experience with data protection practices, risk assessment, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance in the context of information security.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of privacy procedures.
