Join Airtable as a Privacy Specialist and play a key role in shaping the future of privacy. You will manage the cookie compliance program, collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement privacy by design, and conduct data mapping and inventory. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in privacy compliance
- In-depth technical knowledge of consent management platforms (for cookies and communication consent), like OneTrust, Google Tag Manager, and integrating privacy requirements
- Strong experience with implementing and maintaining cookie banners across several domains
- In-depth experience with automating DSAR,ROPA, and privacy assessment processes with privacy tooling
- In-depth experience with ISO27701, GDPR, CCPA and other US State Privacy Laws
- General experience with DPF and global privacy laws
- Experience with conducting privacy impact assessments and risk assessments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to balance privacy requirements with business needs
- Experience with role-based privacy training
Responsibilities
- Manage Airtableβs cookie compliance program, including its cookie banner and categorization of cookies
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as marketing, sales, revops, engineering, and legal teams to implement privacy by design principles in various Airtable processes
- Conduct and refresh data mapping and inventory (ROPA) to ensure proper handling of personal data across business systems
- Conduct privacy assessments (including privacy impact assessments and legitimate interest assessments) for new and existing processes, ensuring privacy controls are in place where applicable (e.g., notice a point of data collection, etc.)
- Respond, manage, and enhance data subject access requests in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain privacy processes that comply with ISO27701
- Enhance and maintain privacy controls framework mapped to ISO27701 and Airtable in-scope privacy laws
- Perform gap assessments and translate into technical requirements for existing and upcoming privacy laws and regulations

- For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is: $164,000 β $246,000 USD
- For all other work locations (including remote), the base salary range for this role is: $148,000 β $222,000 USD
