Summary
Join the Central California Alliance for Health as a Process Excellence Advisor III and lead process improvement engagements. Requirements
- Is experienced in process improvement principles, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to apply these concepts to complex systems and processes in a clear and digestible way
- Holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or similar accreditation in process improvement
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and an open communication approach when engaging with and collaborating across cross-functional departments
- Has strong facilitation and elicitation skills and is successful in information discovery
- Is experienced in healthcare process improvement, including knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and managed care systems, and working with regulatory oversight bodies such as DHCS
- Knowledge of: Process improvement principles, methodologies, best practices, and tools
- The application of BPM principles and capabilities, including the development and application of measurement systems, process governance, and change management
- Research, analysis, and reporting methods
- Project management principles, methodologies, and tools
- The principles and practices of change management
- Ability to: Evaluate complex systems and processes by identifying measures or indicators of performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system or process
- Understand, interpret, explain, and apply policies and procedures
- Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks, coordinate activities and projects, and adhere to timelines
- Select and use appropriate methods when teaching new subjects
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify needed interventions and mitigate risk
- Education and Experience: Bachelorโs degree in Industrial Engineering, Organizational Development, Health Care Administration, or related field and five years of process improvement experience (a Masterโs degree may substitute for two years of the required experience); or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation or similar accreditation in process improvement
Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and consult on the planning and execution of medium- to large-scale process improvement engagements in collaboration with organizational partners
- Serve as a process improvement resource, subject matter expert, trainer, and coach for organizational business partners and Process Excellence Advisor I/IIs
- Support Business Process Management (BPM) objectives through participation in the development of process architecture and metrics
