Process Mapping Lead

Summary

Join The Kaizen Company as a Process Mapping Lead Consultant for a four-month project in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (or remotely). This role requires strategic leadership in a process mapping initiative supporting ISO 9001 certification efforts. You will analyze processes, ensure quality assurance, engage stakeholders, and manage client communication. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of relevant experience, ISO 9001 certification, and strong client management and communication skills. The project involves delivering a process mapping framework, improvement recommendations, learning sessions, and a final report. The position offers the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience in process mapping, Quality Management Systems, ISO Standards or related fields
• Certification in ISO 9001
• Previous USAID/international donor experience and global work experience in related field
• Strong client management skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level strategic guidance for the process mapping initiative, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 standards and organizational goals
• Oversee the analysis of current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Ensure that all process maps and documentation meet ISO 9001 requirements and contribute to the overall quality management system
• Facilitate collaboration among key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive process input and buy-in
• Serve as main point of contact for client and report back to Kaizen management
• Facilitate/guide learning sessions for staff and stakeholders on related topics to ensure continuous improvement, engagement and alignment
