Summary

Join EquipmentShare's Business Analytics team as a Product Analyst and contribute your data expertise to support various departments. This remote/hybrid role, based anywhere in the US, requires quarterly in-person meetings with management. You will leverage data mining to provide insights for product growth, validate KPIs, and collaborate with stakeholders. Responsibilities include creating reports and dashboards, understanding user behavior, and identifying opportunities for product improvement. The ideal candidate possesses advanced SQL and BI dashboard experience, along with a strong understanding of agile software development. A bachelor's degree and at least four years of relevant experience are required.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting product team
  • Advanced Level SQL along with BI Dashboard experience
  • Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
  • Excellent proficiency in English
  • Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers, explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide clear status updates
  • Experience owning a project from conception to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
  • Bachelors degree, required
  • At least 4 years of experience focused on feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion and retention, segmentation, and developing user archetypes and their usage patterns

Responsibilities

  • Support product leadership team by managing metrics and performing data mining to find quality insights and recommendations for product growth
  • Identify and validate accuracy of product’s Key Performance Indicators and communicate valuable discoveries to stakeholders
  • Partner with others in terms of approach and execution to strengthen decision making as it relates to product focus areas
  • Create reports and dashboards to share results of your findings with members of the product leadership team
  • Understand user behaviors and long term trends in the adoption of our products to identify opportunities for product improvement resulting in growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Construction or Fleet Management Industry, preferred
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment, preferred
