Summary

Requirements

  • A degree in engineering or science
  • Proven experience in product or quality engineering within the Space sector

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a robust Product Assurance program, reporting to the Product Assurance Manager
  • Prepare for and participate in subcontractor project reviews and key meetings in collaboration with procurement engineers
  • Lead and manage the Non-Conformance and Change processes
  • Maintain and control Product Assurance lists and registers, including NC lists and Critical Items
  • Provide support for project reviews and prepare associated data packages
  • Assist with spacecraft Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities
  • Participate in hardware inspections and deliveries
  • Balance the need for a rapid implementation schedule with adherence to strict Product Assurance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Materials and Processes engineering (M&P)
  • Familiarity with Electrical and Electronics engineering (EEE)
  • A strong ability to commit to project plans, deliver expected results on time, and proactively report any anticipated deviations
  • The capacity to quickly expand application-specific knowledge and adapt to new areas of responsibility with ease
  • An engaging and collaborative team-player mindset, driven by a desire to contribute to and shape the organization’s success
  • The ability to work independently, think analytically, and remain results-focused
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • A disciplined and organized approach to work
