Product Design Team Leader

Summary

Join Fundraise Up, a global fundraising platform, as a Design Lead in our distributed team of 120+ product professionals. Based in Armenia, with optional relocation support to Spain, Poland, Georgia, or Serbia, you will organize the design team's work, plan sprints, set project timelines, and mentor designers. You will also be responsible for motivating the team, presenting design decisions, organizing processes, managing outstaffed resources, and developing user scenarios and interfaces. The role requires attention to detail, at least 1 year of experience as a design lead, 6+ years of experience as a designer, a strong portfolio, and English B2 level. Responsibilities

• Organizing the work of the design team, planning tasks for sprints and setting project timelines
• Mentoring, working with a competency matrix, and planning professional development
• Motivating designers and fostering a strong design culture
• Presenting and defending design decisions
• Organizing processes and day-to-day routines in collaboration with stakeholders and other departments
• Managing work with outstaffed resources
• Developing user scenarios, designing interfaces, and creating layouts and prototypes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a remote-first, globally distributed team
• Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• A genuine interest in the non-profit technology sector
• A hypothesis-driven mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
