Product Designer

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, 3-5 years of experience in product design, and a proven track record of successful product launches. • Have 3-5 years working on major product design initiatives
• Have proven success shipping product — be familiar with building cycles and know how to deliver value
• Have experience creating high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate complex concepts
• Have strong user-centric design principles and design thinking
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills with a high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and processes clearly to both design and non-design stakeholders
• Have experience collaborating with engineering—know how designs will translate technically, and understand how to work with constraints
• Have previous experience working for a B2B SaaS company
• Not be afraid to fail fast and fail often! A growth mindset is a must

Responsibilities

• Create and refine user interfaces, including sketching, wireframing, and creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
• Collaborate closely with the development team on solutions
• Review and iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, users, and team members
• Talk directly with customers and end users to sharpen your user empathy and apply it directly to your design decisions
• Align design initiatives with business goals and user needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Have design systems experience
• Have HTML/CSS knowledge
• Have experience developing in-app product tours and surveys with no-code tools
• Have experience with the Shape Up methodology
• Quebec candidates must be fluent in English and French
