Responsibilities
- Successfully lead small to medium-sized design projects from conception to completion
- Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and support
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing, to inform or validate design decisions
- Facilitate design brainstorming sessions with stakeholders and team members
- Translate business goals into cohesive user experiences, balancing user and business needs
- Regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and other Stakeholders. Take initiative in meetings to share insights, present design solutions, and advocate for user needs
- Independently design and deliver design solutions, supported by user stories and journeys, and optimized for a wide range of devices
- Experience working within and extending design systems
- Define initial metrics to validate the success of design solutions
- Make informed decisions on information architecture
