Summary
Join Fandom's growing Product team as a Product Designer 2, based in Poznan or remotely. You will contribute to the design and user experience of Fandom's products and services, conceptualizing, researching, generating, and presenting designs. Collaborate with various teams, including product management, marketing, and engineering, to ensure designs meet user and business needs. You will play a key role in the product design process, from concept to launch. This position requires 3+ years of experience in product design and expertise in design tools. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product design, visual design, or related field
- Knowledge of applying a user-centered approach to designing software, services, or responsive websites or applications
- Expert level competencies with the latest design tools and design systems (Figma, Zeplin, Jira)
- 3+ years experience working in an Agile development environment for web or native app development
- Strong interpersonal communications skills, Can productively engage, direct, and organize work with other designers, product managers, user researchers, and engineers and members from marketing and other partners
- Experience validating concepts through user research, low and high-fidelity prototyping, and user testing
- Experience with taking designs from concept to high-fidelity compositions, UX prototypes, and ship quality production assets
- A portfolio of design work showcasing your approach and design skills, including wireframing and design ideation sketches to high fidelity prototypes, comps and collateral. Work should represent a comprehensive understanding of user needs and pain points, displaying multiple design solutions in detail
Responsibilities
- Play a role in the design and execution of new products and user experiences
- Always develop a deeper empathy for our users. In partnership with our user research team, gain and apply user insights to new concepts and in-development designs. Ensure that design decisions are rooted in a clear understanding of user needs and motivations
- Collaborate with your Product Design Lead, product management, marketing, and business teams to define the product & UX strategy. Participate in projects from concept to production, ensuring user and team goals are represented
- Support and contribute to the end-to-end product design process. Explore the design of features from concept through production. Participate in the review process, both within the design team and with partner teams, to provide a solution that meets the needs of the user and the business
- Collaborate with engineering to manage the designs through implementation and launch to market
