Requirements
- Must be currently attending an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical disciplines
- No experience required. Engineering or manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering input during all stages of product development
- Implement incremental design improvements based on customer feedback
- Create and execute design of experiments for testing new design concepts, materials, and/or manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, functionality, and potential reduction in manufacturing time
- Perform official design verification testing as part of the Lexington Medical design release process
- Create and update Production Model Documentation, including assembly drawings, manufacturing procedures, and assembly records
- Develop Lexington Medical product knowledge as well as hands-on ability to operate
- Work independently and collaboratively across functions including Quality assurance/Regulatory affairs, Manufacturing Engineering, and the Production team to implement design improvement projects
