The role involves developing and articulating Amplitude's vision for marketing analytics, building customer relationships, creating compelling content, and refining product strategy. You will also conduct market research, lead strategic initiatives, and provide thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years in marketing and digital analytics, a CMO role or direct report is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in developing impactful product strategies and driving growth
  • Strong understanding of marketing & digital analytics technologies and methodologies; proficiency in tools such as Amplitude & Adobe Analytics is highly desirable
  • Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, including enterprise-level clients and C-suite executives
  • Adept at solving complex business problems with innovative solutions
  • Passionate about delivering value and expertise tailored to customer needs
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment serving diverse customer segments (Majors, Commercial midmarket, Startups)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Continuously seek to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and articulate Amplitude's vision for marketing analytics, positioning our platform as a comprehensive solution
  • Build relationships with customers and partners to enhance their understanding of Amplitude while positioning the platform effectively in the competitive landscape
  • Create compelling content, deliver educational initiatives, and evangelize Amplitude's products and methodologies both internally and externally
  • Refine Amplitude's product strategy, ensuring alignment with company vision and market opportunities
  • Partner with teams across the organization to translate customer needs into actionable product roadmaps
  • Represent Amplitude at conferences and trade shows, showcasing our solutions and differentiating them within the industry
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in product analytics
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product offerings and drive customer adoption
  • Provide strategic advice and insights to internal teams and customers to help them build better products
  • Analyze complex datasets to draw actionable insights that inform product decisions
  • Articulate product value and strategy to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Foster a culture of shared expertise, uplifting the knowledge base of those around you

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • CMO role or direct report
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Amplitude, Adobe Analytics)
