Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in technical project management, preferably within the smart home or consumer electronics sectors
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Suite and Keynote for creating documentation and presentations
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial design principles and premium manufacturing processes
- IoT Knowledge: Proven experience with IoT products
- Project Certification: PMP certification or completion of PMBOK coursework
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of import regulations and customs processes
- Languages: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and/or Spanish
- Visual Communication: Strong skills in visual documentation to effectively convey project details
Responsibilities
- Manage Product Lifecycle: Support product development from initial concept through launch, keeping all teams aligned throughout the process
- Develop Documentation: Create detailed process flows, timelines, and technical documents to facilitate smooth project execution
- Ensure Clear Communication: Maintain consistent communication across design, engineering, logistics, and brand teams to ensure everyone is informed and aligned
- Support Smart Integration: Assist in the documentation and technical specifications necessary for integrating smart technology into products
- Stay Updated on Logistics: Collaborate with partners to remain informed about import and customs requirements related to product launches
- Collaborate on Brand Strategy: Work alongside brand strategists to ensure that all projects align with the organizationโs premium branding strategy
- Maintain Critical Path: Track key milestones throughout the project lifecycle and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress
- Flexible Project Management: Adapt project management methodologies such as Lean, Agile, and Scrum as needed based on project requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Tools: Experience with Asana, Slack, and Notion
- AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools to streamline deliverables
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of clear and frequent stakeholder updates
- CSA Standards: Knowledge of CSA standards for smart products is a plus
- Customer Support Processes: Understanding of customer support processes for product launches
