Summary
Join Experian as a Product Management Director and drive the development and success of our B2B data and analytics products. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from concept to scaling, collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role demands strong product vision, strategic planning, and market research skills. You will manage a team and ensure the product's financial success. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in financial services product management and a deep understanding of B2B dynamics. Requirements
- 10+ years experience as a Product Manager in Financial Services
- Strong understanding of product management principles, Agile methodologies, and the unique challenges of B2B product management, including stakeholder management, enterprise customer needs, P&L management to drive financial success, and the skills of a Product Owner to manage backlogs
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or other product management software, and CRM tools and analytics platforms relevant to B2B products
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field
- Experience building data-oriented products
- Background in B2B product development and management
- Knowledge of financial services is necessary
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with our goals
- Define and prioritize product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, taking on responsibilities typical of a Product Owner to ensure development aligns with strategic goals
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to launch products
- Conduct market research and customer feedback sessions to identify user needs and market opportunities, with a focus on data and analytics products for B2B customers
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that balances strategic initiatives with customer demands
- Monitor product performance through key metrics and analytics to ensure continuous improvement
- Be the primary contact for product-related inquiries and decisions
- Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond
- Take full ownership of the product's P&L, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded
- Manage a team of up to two direct reports
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA is a plus
- Experience in subprime markets is a significant plus
