Summary
Join Modern Treasury as a Product Manager, Bank Connectivity and Internal Tools, based in San Francisco, New York, or remotely. You will own the technical frameworks and tools connecting our platform to banks, streamlining bank integrations, and managing internal tooling for various teams. This role blends strategic ownership of bank connectivity frameworks with operational oversight of customer onboarding. The ideal candidate is passionate about building streamlined workflows, possesses strong collaboration skills, and has a deep understanding of or a desire to learn about bank technologies and integrations. You will prioritize financial system integrations, manage payments product onboarding and stability, and design metrics for operational improvements. This position offers the opportunity to work on industry-leading payment systems with future-leaning capabilities.
Requirements
- Possess operational fluency: Relish going deep with internal partners on the ins and outs of their day to day to identify opportunities for operational improvement through tooling. - Demonstrate partnership collaboration: Thrive in a dynamic and cross functional environment where you not only work with internal stakeholders across multiple teams but external counterparties such as banks
- Show excitement for Payments: Have an interest in the payments and banking space, even if you are not an expert today, learning and exploring the nuances of ACH, RTP and OAuth excite you
- Have product management experience: Have extensive experience as a product manager operating in dynamic, fast-moving environments
- Possess internal tooling expertise: Have experience building tools for internal users with a track record that demonstrates the value and efficiencies these tools provide
Responsibilities
- Prioritize financial system integrations: Work closely with sales, customer success, and bank partnerships to understand which banks or other financial service providers we should work with. Define the ideal technical implementation and work closely with engineering on streamlining integration processes
- Manage payments product onboarding and stability: Work with our customers to understand their timelines to go live and work closely with engineering to implement their bank requirements balancing short term goals and long term integration frameworks. Manage the full lifecycle of a customerβs integration from building the bank connection, account set up, payments testing, data connectivity and post-go live upgrades
- Design metrics and operational improvements: Design metrics to ensure we are building the right tools and processes for our internal customers. Discover operational improvements for our bank and customer onboarding teams to minimize friction and speed up implementations
