Product Manager

Summary

Join Slice as a Product Manager and work on a rapidly growing product crucial to our 'reverse franchise' offering for independent pizzerias and restaurants. You will own a product or feature portfolio, managing its lifecycle and identifying new investment areas within the 'Appliances' product area, focusing on hardware and software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, define elegant solutions, and be the product expert. This role requires 3+ years of Product Management experience in marketplaces or SMB products, including experience with B2B hardware and data analysis. Requirements

• 3+ years of Product Management experience in Marketplace or SMB products
• 1+ years in B2C or B2B hardware scaling end to end
• Experience both in analyzing data to help develop hypotheses and then constructing experiments to test them
• Experience in driving business outcomes, as opposed to shipping features
• Demonstrated experience using some kind of product analytics tool
• Clear passion for Design Thinking and being a partner to Product Design
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner well throughout an organisation
• Meticulous in taking care of the details and demonstrating end-to-end ownership of work
• Fluent in agile software development

Responsibilities

• Own a product or coherent portfolio of features and be accountable for the entire product lifecycle
• Identify new areas of investment (new projects) for the product or area
• Build the new product area called Appliances, marrying hardware and software products to give our shop partners hardware solutions that ‘just work’
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, or Finance
• Define simple, elegant solutions from understanding user needs and identifying when they may need to seek further research
• Be the product expert for your product or features with a deep understanding of their users, market, and technology
• Foster innovation across the whole team by creating space for it to happen
