Summary

Join Universal Audio (UA), a pioneer in audio and music production tools, as a Product Manager. Requirements

  • Product Management ideally in consumer hardware/software (audio/music tech strongly preferred)
  • Experience identifying customer and market pain points and building solutions to solve them
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle for multiple successful product launches
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to make data-informed decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Passion for music—whether as a creator, performer, or enthusiast
  • Expert in computer music, audio recording/creation, or related field
  • Willing to travel when necessary
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years in product management

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage product initiatives across UA’s hardware portfolio, including embedded and host-based software integration
  • Support multiple product lines within UA’s hardware portfolio, and the related software roadmap that meets the needs of UA customers and UA’s growing business
  • Prioritize product backlogs and manage trade-offs between cost, scope, and schedule during development
  • Work with engineering teams during the development phase to management cost/schedule tradeoffs, serving as the voice of the customer and of the business
  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish business cases that serve as justification for new products and features with a clear representation of the costs and benefits
  • Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps, requirements documents, business cases, and go-to-market plans
  • Act as a key liaison between Product Development and Go-To-Market teams to ensure product readiness and successful launches
