Summary

Join Verra Mobility Commercial Services as a Product Manager Payment Solutions to assess current state financial transaction processing capabilities and develop a roadmap for best-in-class performance in payment processing, customer and client financial management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful product / service portfolio management with a focus in the following areas
  • Merchant Processing vendors and ecosystems
  • Visa/MC/Amex ecosystems and regulations
  • Dynamic card descriptors
  • Network transaction ID
  • Chargebacks
  • PCI compliance
  • Card account updater
  • Authorization optimization
  • Batch card processing
  • Payment tokenization
  • Utilized a structured process for complex roadmaps planning
  • Experience performing market studies, competitive analysis, including, industry benchmarking, competitive analysis, market studies; and identifying product value proposition and market differentiation
  • Capability to think commercially to drive business cases, product packaging strategies and margin improvement
  • Proven competence in project management
  • Successfully interfaced with suppliers/customer/sales facing teams
  • Experience in commercialization of software-as-a-service and BPO solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business. Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum 5 years working as a Product Manager for B2B, business process outsourcing, or technology company
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to function both as an individual contributor and member of a cross-functional team
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
  • Moderate travel required (10-30%)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the success of all aspects of financial management and payment processing by partnering with stakeholders, aligning on a product strategy and deliver measurable results that solve our customer problems
  • Gather voice of customer insights in partnership with the Customer Success team
  • Collaborate with technology team to define technology roadmap including architectural update and enhancements
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market environment so as to understand market issues, opportunities and requirements
  • Define new product and service payment solutions for current customers while also planning new adjacent solutions for the business
  • Utilize business cases to prioritize the roadmap
  • Maintain a multi quarter product roadmap
  • Deliver product and service releases on-time and on-budget utilizing a structured process
  • Work with Engineering teams to identify, design and build scalable platform components that win in the market
  • Collaborate with program management to drive successful launches
  • Serve as the expert on our payment and transaction services and capabilities based on in-depth knowledge of the payments industry
  • Define, track and elevate key metrics and success criteria to ensure offering success
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Support teams to drive revenue, profit and engagement from all channels
  • Own the product P&L as one measure of our shared success
