Product Manager

Summary

Join Verra Mobility as a Product Manager in Government Solutions! Spearhead market-facing efforts to develop, expand, and enhance our product offerings. Analyze RFPs, gather requirements, and design innovative solutions merging customer needs with technology. Collaborate with SMEs across departments to bring the vision of positively influencing driver behavior and improving road safety to life. This business-critical role requires a proactive and curious individual passionate about technology, capable of leading innovation and driving execution. You will define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs to measure product performance and contribution to business goals and strategy. The position requires significant experience in product development and strategy, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or another engineering / technical degree, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years working in technology and product development
• Minimum 3 years in defining requirements, journey mapping, and prototyping based on user needs
• Minimum 3 years leading product strategy, including scoping projects and charting/maintaining roadmaps
• Broad understanding of cloud and compute technologies, such as AWS/Azure
• Experience in developing solutions against RFPs
• Excellent skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and analysis
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid written & verbal communication skills and gifted in interpersonal interactions (e.g., collaboration, consensus building, conflict management, etc.)
• Ability to foster positive client interactions while challenging and probing for insights
• Experience driving cross functional teams across all levels and functions
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - managing diverse priorities
• Must be able to travel 20% of the time

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations
• Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy
• Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy
• Translate business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements
• Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance
• Determine internal and contract/partner resources
• Partner with hardware, engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment on solutions
• Proactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product
• Contribute to investment decision making and finances for the product
• Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business goals and strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• Experience in developing image/video processing solutions
• Experience in developing mobility and road safety solutions
• Knowledge of imaging hardware
