Requirements

  • 2+ years of product management experience
  • Highly autonomous and thrives in taking ownership of complex, unscoped problems
  • A relentless learner with a proven track record of diving deep into large, complex domains and becoming the go-to expert
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate a vision and drive execution across teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, using data to guide product intuition and decisions
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Responsibilities

  • Be given wide-ranging responsibility for building and shaping our payments ecosystem, from member-facing products and experiences to internal tools for our payment operations team to our core payment system and accumulator
  • Lead projects such as enabling patients to track their payments in real-time, integrating Garner with health savings accounts, and introducing faster, more convenient payment rails for member reimbursements
  • Define and develop the payments roadmap, covering vendor integrations, new products and features, internal services, and data products
  • Drive new feature development from start to finish: from ideation to solution design, development, launch, and iteration
  • Define what success looks like, ensure we have the data in place to measure progress and rally the team around what winning looks like

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or a degree in software engineering or data science
  • Building financial products
  • Managing and building large-scale data systems
