Product Manager, Mobile

Requirements

• 5+ years in product and/or project management
• Excellent English both written and verbal
• Demonstrable experience working with great products, companies or people
• Experience in working within a high-growth technical environment
• Tertiary education or a track record of experience that proves it wasn’t needed
• A passion for continuous learning and development, both personally and for the teams you work with

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Zeller Mobile products, covering strategy, roadmap, issues and growth
• Synthesise and form positions on emerging industry development and translation to practical outcomes for product and operational teams
• Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives, bringing together product, risk, compliance, dev ops, and finance teams to deliver exceptional results
• Be ‘hands on’ in breaking down the user experience and transposing this through design or wireframes to conceptualise optimal outcomes
• Harness data-driven insights to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Champion innovation, challenging conventional wisdom and pushing boundaries to keep us ahead of the curve

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL experience so you can pull your own data is desired but not required
• You love challenging the status quo
• Steadfast ability to keep the customer as the central point of all products
• You hold the concept of product ‘simplicity’ in the highest regard
• Ability to see and act across the value chain, and not get bogged down in functional silos
• Be able to continually balance speed, perfection, functionality, cost and outcomes
• Track record of tackling difficult cross-functional challenges to find solutions where no precedent exists
• Proven track record in taking products from concept through all phases, to deployment and optimisation
• Willingness to oscillate between and balance; ‘leadership’ with ‘getting your hands dirty’
