Summary

Join Altera Digital Health as a Product Manager to lead the implementation of a new terminology platform for their TouchWorks solution suite. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, IT, marketing, finance, a related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including 1-3 years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated experience taking a software project from ideation through successful launch
  • Strong understanding of business/functional requirements and software development processes
  • Experience working in or with physician practices or implementing healthcare software
  • Expert knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system or U.S.-based practice management operations
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and codification (e.g., ICD-10, DSM)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the implementation of our new terminology platform/clinical information model across the TouchWorks solution suite, working closely with engineering, UX, and other stakeholders
  • Define and prioritize product requirements based on internal and external feedback, market analysis, and industry trends, with a strong focus on the U.S. healthcare landscape and best practices
  • Collaborate with product owners, PMO, and Scrum teams to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery
  • Manage the product value stream and delivery, translating market/customer needs into actionable offerings within the Practice Management domain
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, balancing scope and resources, with consideration for the unique aspects of the Canadian market
  • Contribute to go-to-market activities, including sales enablement and channel readiness for the U.S. market
  • Collaborate with UX designers and functional/technical architects to optimize workflows and address integration challenges, particularly within the context of Practice Management and Clinical EHR systems
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and report on key deliverables to stakeholders
  • Champion the product vision and ensure alignment with Altera Digital Health's overall strategy

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with prior experience working with U.S. health systems, Altera solutions, including TouchWorks or similar practice management solutions, or in an Associate Product Manager role within practice management will be prioritized
