Summary

Join Liftoff's Product team as a key player in identifying opportunities and creating new products and services within the mobile applications landscape. You will leverage your deep understanding of the mobile industry, particularly programmatic ad platforms and industry regulations, to lead product initiatives. Responsibilities include managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering and sales teams, and ensuring alignment with company strategy and legal compliance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical background, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of bringing successful mobile ad products to market. This role offers a full compensation package including equity and health benefits, with base salary varying by location and experience. The position can be remote within specified Pacific Time Zones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years over all experience
  • 2+ years of Product Management or relevant experience with recent years within Advertising or Marketing technologies
  • Solid analytical background to leverage data, business insights for making product decisions and measure product success
  • Remarkable communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to drive vision and influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in ideating and bringing to market commercially viable products
  • Experience and/or deep desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

  • Product leadership for a portfolio of SSP/Ad Exchange product initiatives
  • Research, analyze, and validate user needs and market opportunities, then translate these insights into a strategic roadmap that aligns with our goals and vision
  • Play a key role in ensuring that product efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals
  • Manage the product lifecycle for a portfolio of products - defining, documenting, prioritizing, and communicating product and customer requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the SSP engineering team on the development, testing, and implementation of SSP features
  • Partner with the Sales, and analytical teams for the go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to align product development with privacy laws
  • Communicate regularly across stakeholder groups, product squads and senior management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mobile application development & advertising, with knowledge of of ad-serving flow
  • Ability to define a compelling product, and path to market, then evangelize that vision internally and externally
  • Experience with business case development and scenario planning
