Summary
Join Mindex as a Product Owner for our Advanced Analytics platform and drive the vision for smarter decisions in K-12 education and beyond. You will collaborate with engineering and UX teams to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions. This role requires working with customers to analyze needs and prioritize improvements, breaking down epics into user stories, and ensuring successful product launches. You will also act as a subject matter expert, representing Mindex externally and contributing to continuous process improvement. Responsibilities
- Work with the Product Director to translate high-level company vision and strategy into actionable product plans
- Work with the Customer to analyze user needs, identify improvements, their priority and value, and documents them as epics containing high-level features, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Work with their Engineering team and User Experience to break epics down into plannable features and user stories and acts as the Customer SME/Advocate providing continuous feedback throughout the development process
- Approve work done, track progress toward completion of Epics and larger strategic goals (or OKRs), and collaborate with documentation, training, support, and marketing to prepare customer communications and support ahead of release
- Where appropriate, facilitate user acceptance testing and/or feedback demonstrations of work prior to release, collate and assess feedback, and reshape team priorities as needed to maximize value for the customer
- Act as a SME in support of service, sales, and marketing for general Q&A, represent Mindex externally at User Groups and Conferences, presenting as needed on recently released features and running focus groups to gather feedback
- Actively facilitate and participate in team retrospectives and the continuous improvements of our organizational structure, processes, and tooling to drive greater operational efficiency and value for our customers
