Product Owner

Summary

Join AlGooru, a Saudi-based learning platform, as a Product Owner focused on website development. You will be responsible for the mobile application, websites, and dashboards, ensuring smooth operation and meeting requirements. Key responsibilities include acting as the liaison between the development team and business users, analyzing data to identify enhancements, and ensuring quality assurance and testing of releases. You will also be involved in developing product strategy, gathering user insights, documenting requirements, and collaborating with the development team. Requirements

• Have proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong focus on website development and optimization
• Have an analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product decisions
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
• Have familiarity with product management tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
• Have knowledge of UX/UI principles and experience in working closely with design teams
• Have an understanding of technology trends and the ability to translate them into product opportunities
• Have excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for everything related to our mobile application, websites, and dashboards including ensuring that they are running smoothly and as per our requirements
• Be the main point of contact between the development team and the company’s business users
• Be responsible for analyzing app-related and operation-related data to develop new ideas and enhancements
• Ensure that we never go live with a release unless it has been tested and verified
• Ensure that business users are aware and trained on all new releases
• Ensure that all business users are satisfied with a release before we go live
• Report and monitor any bugs
• Work closely with Product Manager to develop Product strategy & roadmap
• Conduct User interviews to gain new insights about our products
• Collect and suggest new requirements and enhancements for our products
• Write clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that allow developers to implement our requirements flawlessly
• Suggest new ideas & potential enhancements to our products
• Communicate with the development team to make sure new requirements are clear before development starts
• Ensure POCs are aware of new releases and on-going sprints
• Ensure that all data related to our products are tracked accurately
• Work with Data team to create automated reports for different departments across the company
• Track & analyze data/reports to find bugs or areas of exploration
