Product Owner

Summary

Join Level Access and play a pivotal role as the Product Owner - Classic, leading the end-of-life process for legacy products. This position involves coordinating product management and digital accessibility to ensure a smooth transition for customers. You will manage the product lifecycle, prioritize the backlog, collaborate with various teams, translate business requirements into user stories, and perform market analysis. The role requires strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills, along with experience in product ownership and digital accessibility. Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in product ownership, focusing on digital accessibility and legacy products
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of product management, including agile scrum development and lean startup principles
• Proven ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making and prioritize tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management and large groups
• Proven track record of effectively working with diverse teams and managing relationships with collaborators
• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire lifecycle of legacy products, from planning to sunsetting, to ensure minimal disruption to customers and collaborators
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team focuses on tasks that enhance business value and meet customer needs
• Collaborate closely with development teams, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful product transitions
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development teams
• Perform market analysis to comprehend the effect of legacy product EOL on customers and find opportunities for improvement
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external EOL-related communications
• Make sure all end-of-life processes and new product developments follow digital accessibility standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the digital accessibility industry is highly desirable
• Proven track record of leading scrum teams and managing complex projects
• Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable product requirements
