Product Owner

Join Sweed, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform, as a Product Owner to help scale and optimize the platform remotely. Sweed's platform combines POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management into a single solution, aiming for simplicity, efficiency, and innovation. The company is committed to the medicinal potential of cannabis and strives to make cannabis retail more efficient, accessible, and customer-friendly. As a Product Owner, you will develop and maintain a product roadmap for in-store products, conduct market and customer research, define and prioritize product features, manage the product backlog, analyze product performance, perform business analysis, and manage the team's daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager role
• Technical understanding of the product and the ability to communicate effectively with the development team
• Proven experience in a dynamically evolving product with constantly shifting priorities
• Familiarity with Kanban, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to perform business analysis and project management
• Upper-Intermediate and higher level of English. You will need to communicate with the English-speaking part of the team, clients and write and read the documentation in English

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for our in-store products (e.g. kiosks)  that aligns with the company's strategy and vision
• Conduct market and customer research to gather insights and inform product development decisions
• Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized based on business and customer impact
• Analyze product performance and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve products
• Perform independent business analysis of features
• Manage the team's daily operations, including hiring, motivation, and performance management
