Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in product ownership or management
- Proven success working with development teams using agile (Scrum preferred)
- Able to write well-defined specifications to clearly communicate expected product outcomes
- Track record of being able to critically analyse data samples (both qualitative and quantitative) and produce sensible insights to fuel product initiatives
- Able to challenge expectations and question the status quo on a day-to-day basis
- Hungry, creative, enthusiastic, and data-driven with a diverse skill set
- Experience validating ideas and generating user feedback through different customer research methodologies
- Proven commercial acumen with the ability to build financial models and execute on business drivers
Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Delivery: Responsible for delivering the product vision, driving discovery, and translating vision to delivery and continuous improvement
- Adaptability: Monitor and adjust the product vision and roadmap while adhering to the core vision amidst constraints
- Backlog Management: Strategically prioritise and maintain a user story backlog, balancing business goals, stakeholder expectations, and feasibility
- Customer Representation: Represent customer and business interests in prioritisation and planning, and address customer feedback
- Collaboration: Work with designers, architects, developers, sales, and support teams to ensure feasible, viable, and well-planned product development and rollout
- Team Management: Manage product squads, focusing them on achieving business objectives
- Communication: Clearly convey ideas, issues, and project status to stakeholders and ensure transparent communication of product requirements
Preferred Qualifications
For bonus points (this isn’t a requirement!) - you’ve worked in SaaS on products involving 2-sided marketplaces or within the HR and Recruitment space
