Summary

Join Xometry's Global Shared Services (GSS) team as a Production Control Coordinator (PCC) and become the first point of contact for all POD-related projects. You will handle inbound requests, route tasks, and provide support via phone across multiple time zones. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate possesses customer service experience and proficiency in MS Office Suite. While a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in production control are preferred, they are not mandatory. The position is remote within the EU and observes US holidays.

Requirements

  • Possess customer service experience
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written English skills (C1)
  • Be proficient in MS Office Suite and other digital collaboration tools
  • Possess excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Be able to multitask, stay organized, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Be a quick learner with strong critical thinking and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line telephony support for all POD-related projects
  • Act as the first line of intake and support within the POD, triaging incoming job flow and distributing tasks efficiently
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure correct task ownership and follow-through
  • Escalate issues or blockers to relevant stakeholders in operations, engineering, or quality
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring timely updates and professional support
  • Support internal communication and cooperation across departments and shifts
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at process simplification and automation
  • Ensure compliance with Xometry’s quality systems and internal procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Have experience in production control, manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply chain
  • Be familiar with manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, or mechanical inspection
