Summary

The job is for a construction staking position in the Rancho Cordova, CA office of TAIT, a civil engineering, architectural design, and real estate development firm. The position requires at least 5 years' experience in construction staking and proficiency with Trimble surveying equipment and software. Preferred candidates should have journey level experience and proficiency in a wide range of computer programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction staking
• Experience with buildings, structures, robotics, and GPS equipment
• PLS license in CA required
• Recent field experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform construction staking for buildings, structures, robotics, and GPS equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of journey level experience with responsible charge on a survey project
• Proficient in a wide range of computer programs which may include MS Office Suite, CADD (Civil3D, Carlson, MicroSurvey, or other drafting package), Processing/adjustment software (Trimble Business Center, StarNet, etc.)
• Three or more years of Digital Terrain Model (DTM), GPS, collection and processing, least square adjustment, Topographic surveys, and boundary surveys experience
