Professional Services Intern

Summary

Join Actian's 2025 Summer Internship Program for a 12-week opportunity starting June 2nd. This program offers structured learning, a dedicated mentor, and a capstone project presentation. The internship focuses on Informix & ITX professional services, allowing interns to build skills and contribute to database and data transformation technologies. Interns will compare Informix and DB2 databases, researching migration considerations and preparing a detailed report. The program includes social events, executive interaction, workshops, and a potential travel opportunity for orientation.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
• Must be legally authorized to work in the Country of Employment

Responsibilities

• Learn high level Informix and DB2 database technologies
• Compare/Contrast the major differences between the two
• Study/Research migration considerations for applications and databases moving from one database (DB2) to Informix
• Prepare a research report and a presentation on key considerations and requirements for such a migration

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
