Summary
Join Actian's 2025 Summer Internship Program for a 12-week opportunity starting June 2nd. This program offers structured learning, a dedicated mentor, and a capstone project presentation. Interns will compare Informix and DB2 databases, researching migration considerations and preparing a detailed report. Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
- Must be legally authorized to work in the Country of Employment
Responsibilities
- Learn high level Informix and DB2 database technologies
- Compare/Contrast the major differences between the two
- Study/Research migration considerations for applications and databases moving from one database (DB2) to Informix
- Prepare a research report and a presentation on key considerations and requirements for such a migration
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
