Summary

Join Axon and be a Professional Services Manager, Outpost, supporting the deployment of advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. This role involves hands-on fieldwork, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring high-quality installations. You will contribute to multi-site deployments, working with project leads and vendors to meet Axon's standards. Responsibilities include supporting LPR deployments, applying knowledge of power systems, coordinating logistics, providing on-site support, gathering data, communicating project updates, reading and interpreting diagrams, collaborating with various teams, and representing Axon professionally. The position requires 2–4 years of experience in field operations or deployment support, familiarity with electrical systems, strong communication skills, proficiency in project tracking tools, and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in field operations, systems installation, or deployment support (public safety, telecom, utilities, or infrastructure sectors preferred)
  • Familiarity with electrical systems (110VAC/12VDC) and mechanical installation best practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable with both field and remote collaboration
  • Proficient in using field ops and project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Salesforce, Slack)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, IT, Construction Management) or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

  • Support LPR deployments through installation, power readiness, hardware setup, and field testing
  • Apply working knowledge of 110VAC and 12VDC power systems to assist with electrical prep and troubleshooting
  • Assist with coordinating logistics between internal teams, contractors, and public safety agencies
  • Provide on-site support during installs, ensuring alignment with safety and technical guidelines
  • Gather and report data from field activities to help improve deployment processes
  • Communicate project updates and site status using tools like Zoom, Outlook, Slack, Quip, Smartsheet, and Salesforce
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mounting guides, and site blueprints to validate installation plans
  • Collaborate with permitting, field ops, and vendor management teams to keep deployments on schedule
  • Represent Axon professionally in the field, upholding our commitment to quality and respect in every interaction

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with contractors, utility providers, or public agencies (a plus)
