Summary

Join STR's growing Program Finance team as a Program Financial Analyst, supporting all aspects of program planning, monitoring, analyzing, tracking, and reporting on various programs. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid or fully remote work schedule, with preference for candidates in the Boston, MA area. You will play a critical role in supporting the financial management of our programs, ensuring their financial health and success. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • US Citizen with ability to obtain a government security clearance, if required
  • Bachelor’s in Business or Finance
  • 0-2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on program financials on various programs varying in size and complexity with attention to 75% spent metrics and backlog reporting
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Technical Group Leadership, Contracts, and other Business Operations Groups
  • Proactively manage subcontractor and consultant hours/costs, address funding needs, and monitor invoicing
  • Complete accurate submission of customer financial deliverables (i.e., Funds and Man-Hours Expenditure Report, Contract Funds Status Report, Financial Status Report, etc.)
  • Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and complete
  • Alert Program Managers and Finance Management to potential at risk situations
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

DoD Finance background preferred
