Summary

The Program Supervisor role is for CAMBA's School-Based Early Support Program, which aims to empower families and promote children's well-being within the school environment. The supervisor will provide overall leadership, develop program plans, oversee direct service components, manage budget and resources, ensure compliance with policies, directly supervise staff, build relationships with families, and support school partnerships.

Requirements

  • A Masters Degree (MA), Masters of Science (MS), or Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with families and children in a community setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey respect, compassion, and empathy to clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of relevant databases and case management systems (a plus)
  • Commitment to cultural competency and anti-oppressive practice
  • Strong understanding of student support services, including IEPs, 504 plans, and SEL programs

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the SBES program, ensuring alignment with program goals, targets, and performance outcomes
  • Develop and implement program plans and strategies to maximize program effectiveness
  • Oversee all direct service components, including intake, case assignment, and service delivery
  • Manage program budget and resources effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all CAMBA and program policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Directly supervise a team of 3+ BA or MA level Case Planners and a Case Aide
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
  • Identify and address staff training needs, including training in the Triple P model
  • Support school partnership and outreach efforts with guidance from the School Outreach Liaison
  • Build strong relationships with families from diverse backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and accessibility
  • Identify at-risk families in collaboration with school teams
  • Educate school staff about the program and target population
  • Integrate the program with school prevention plans when appropriate
  • Keep stakeholders informed through regular communication (newsletters, social media, meetings)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing principles (a plus)
  • Experience with or training in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program (a plus)
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred
