Summary

Join Power Digital, a tech-enabled growth firm, as a Programmatic Media Trader. You will be responsible for building and optimizing programmatic media campaigns across various channels. This role demands a deep understanding of DSP mechanics and data savviness to deliver top results for clients. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Programmatic Leadership, Business Development Leads, and the Media Planning team. The ideal candidate enjoys fast turnarounds, independent ownership, and performance-based earning potential. You will manage campaigns across multiple DSPs, ensuring alignment with KPIs, and optimizing performance using various techniques. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and experience in programmatic trading.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a hands-on-key programmatic trading role
  • Robust media channel expertise across digital + traditional media channels including, but not limited to; TV, OOH, CTV/OTT, DOOH, Audio, Display, Direct Mail
  • Working knowledge of ad servers, brand safety tools, and attribution platforms
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns or clients simultaneously
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot delivery, performance, or tracking issues independently and on a daily basis
  • Strong internal communication skills on accounts to establish clear expectations, provide feedback, and keep teams aligned
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfortable using large datasets to guide optimizations
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, setting expectations, and stewarding campaign strategy
  • Comfortable working with multiple deadlines and quick turnarounds, highly organized with strong attention to detail, and strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Setup + Execution Launch and manage campaigns across various DSPs (e.g. TTD, DV360, Amazon DSP, Adelphic, StackAdapt) with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ensure campaign framework and performance is aligned with primary KPIs (CPM, CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS, etc)
  • Development and implementation of audience targeting, budget pacing, geos, creatives, etc
  • Ensure campaign Quality Assurance, verify tag implementation, and ensure proper tracking/measurement is in place
  • Monitor delivery, pacing, and performance on a daily basis to hit client goals
  • Diagnose issues (e.g. underdelivery, attribution issues, performance drops) and implement fixes
  • Optimize toward performance metrics like conversions, site visits, or view rates using bid adjustments, audience refinements, supply filters, and frequency controls
  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Vendor Management Partner with Programmatic Sales team to develop media plans, forecasts, and insertion orders
  • Work closely with client-facing Account Managers to translate campaign performance into succinct reports with actionable insights
  • Support campaign renewals, media plan expansions, and cross-channel testing ideas
  • Maintain a strong understanding of inventory quality and preferred publisher lists
  • Develop bespoke inventory deals across premium supply partners (e.g. Disney, NBC, CBS, Freewheel, Magnite, OpenX, etc.)
  • Stay updated on DSP features, platform UI changes, and targeting capabilities
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new DSPs for key testing opportunities and partnership exploration
