Project Analyst

Summary

Join The Green Technology Group, LLC (TGTG) as a Project Analyst supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT). This full-time remote position requires a self-starter with strong strategic communication and analytical skills. You will conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports, making recommendations to optimize programs, policies, and systems. A background in IT and Organizational Change Management is preferred. The role demands flexibility and forward-thinking in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience are required, along with the ability to pass a background check and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Requirements

• Have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs
• Be able to use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes
• Be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations
• Be able to effectively manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes
• Have experience in creating new methods of gathering and analyzing source data to evaluate program effectiveness and analyze business processes
• Obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation
• Have legal authorization to work in the U.S
• Have a Bachelor's Degree (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
• Have 5 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
• Determining program requirements and making recommendations
• Analyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these
• Drafting new or revised policies and procedures
• Assisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics
• Identifying and resolving issues and problems
• Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs
• Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a baseline understanding of IT
• Have experience with Organizational Change Management
