Summary
Join Skyward as a Project Director to lead a team supporting CMS by disseminating data to researchers, coordinate efforts between agile teams, and manage the project to comply with IT standards. Requires Bachelorโs degree, 10+ years of program experience, federal IT project management, data management or strategy experience, and agile certification.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree
- At least 10 years of experience planning and executing programs
- Experience managing federal IT projects that includes data management or data strategy (data. Must have all the data)
- Ability to easily demonstrate independent judgment while maintaining core relationships in a multi-contractor, government environment
- Desire and knack for running government and contractor meetings and presenting to stakeholders any program updates which includes risks, issues, deliverables, and project status
- Agile certification (i.e., PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Manager)
- Experience with one or more different agile methodologies, including Scrum, Lean, or SAFe
- Collaborative spirit. You are known for your client relationship management skills and have led extremely successful programs
Responsibilities
- Lead a team that is supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by disseminating data to researchers
- Coordinate efforts between different agile teams, lead the overall program strategy, direct communication with executive stakeholders and provide direction on implementation of resources
- Demonstrate independent judgment while maintaining core relationships in a multi-contractor, government environment
- Monitor integration points and dependencies with related systems and assess impacts of external project interdependencies on the scope and schedule for work required under this contract
- Draft, publish, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that describe how systems are managed so that itโs transparent to and repeatable by all team members
- Develop and continuously update a Comprehensive Management Plan highlighting the steps that need to be completed to accomplish tasks and objectives involved with, but not limited to, operating IT Systems, loading current data files, processing data requests and storing/tracking data request documentation and archival files
- Manage the project to comply with any relevant IT standards and reporting requirements of the IT Governance processes and programs

$148,000 - $206,000 a year
