Summary

Join JetZero, a company developing a blended wing aircraft for sustainable air travel, as their Head of Project Engineering. You will be responsible for developing execution plans, managing critical path activities, implementing risk management, ensuring technical integrations, establishing engineering requirements, and deploying cost reviews and performance metrics for the Pathfinder, Demonstrator, and Product projects. This role reports to the Head of Engineering and requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10 years of relevant experience, and experience with project management tools. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 10 years of experience in project/program management of highly integrated and large-scale complex projects

Responsibilities

  • Develop centralized execution plans for the Pathfinder, Demonstrator and Product projects as needed
  • Identify critical path activities and manage key intendencies to secure execution of the various programs
  • Implement robust risk and opportunity management that compliments the Program Managerโ€™s risk register
  • Ensure technical integrations across the transverse groups as required
  • Establish engineering requirements for deployment of the selected PLM solution
  • Develop and apply readiness criteria for the different program phases (Safety of Flight, etc.)
  • Expand support to external supplier integration and needed
  • Establish the deployment of regular cost reviews, cost controls and management within the Engineering function
  • Deploy processes and tools for performance metrics and governance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Project or other project management tools
  • Previous experience on aircraft development programs
