Project Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a remote Project Engineer and contribute to the successful implementation of innovative technology projects. You will be responsible for optimizing IT system performance, enhancing team collaboration, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires 5+ years of experience in designing, testing, and deploying technology solutions, along with expertise in various infrastructure components and systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a client-focused mindset. Requirements

• Have experience working with remote teams
• Possess hands-on or remote deployment and troubleshooting experience for different technologies including endpoints, servers, cloud technologies, networks, etc
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, and at times high-pressure consulting environment
• Have demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows Server Environment Setup, Active Directory and Active Directory Services, DNS and DHCP, Hypervisor Setup and Configuration with Hyper-V, Cloud Platform Deployments, Standard O365 Apps such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, Cloud Identify Managment such as Azure AD and EntraID, MDM platforms including Intune and MaaS360, Email Migration and Support, Experience migration from on-premises Exchange to O365, Migration tools and scripts such as those from BitTitan, Data Storage Device Setup and Deployment, NAS solutions from QNAP and Synology and Dell
• Have a home office set up that meets the following: A working computer with minimum of 8gb RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur, Stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload, A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings, A mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication app, HD webcam, 2nd Monitor, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply ) if using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)
• Be a very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)
• Have excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
• Be able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST) from Monday to Friday
• Be able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments
• Be able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants)

• Showcase strong technical proficiency in infrastructure components and systems
• Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in configuring and deploying various infrastructure changes, including firewalls, servers, networking, and wireless
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization
• Display outstanding communication and collaboration abilities for effective stakeholder engagement
• Maintain a client-focused mindset with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach to project execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience using Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools or ticketing platforms such as ConnectWise
• Have prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment supporting multiple Clients
• Have experience using Remote Monitoring and Management tools (RMM) such as Kaseya or LabTech/ConnectWise Automate
• Have demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Hypervisor Setup and Configuration, VMWare ESXi, Nutanix Acropolis, Cloud Platform Deployments, QuickBooks Online, Apple MDM, Citrix ShareFile, Equipment Setup and Deployment, Network Switches from Cisco and Dell Enterprise, Firewalls from SonicWall and Fortinet, Wireless Access Points (WAPs) from Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti
