Summary
Join Delivery Associates, a social impact consulting firm, as a Project Leader in the Africa region, based in the Central African Republic. This 1-year contractor role involves leading consulting teams working with governments and coalitions to deliver public health projects focusing on sexual and reproductive health. You will engage senior leaders, guide client teams, facilitate problem-solving, and develop reports. The role requires strong project management, communication, and leadership skills, along with experience in the public sector or consulting. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs degree, with a Masterβs in public health preferred. Requisite years of professional experience in public health, public policy, and/or apprenticeship pathways will also be considered in lieu of formal education
- Have 7-9 years of relevant experience in the public sector, at consulting firms or international organizations with demonstrable client-facing delivery
- Demonstrate project and/or programme management experience, particularly in public health contexts
- Possess demonstrated experience in managing complex projects
- Have excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Have business-level proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written)
- Have existing right-to-work documentation, based in the Central African Republic (or having the ability to relocate for the duration of your contract)
Responsibilities
- Work with governments and donors, engaging senior leaders in public sectors on their most complex challenges by building capabilities for delivering priority projects and informing data-driven decision-making
- Lead the day-to-day execution of projects while guiding and coaching client teams to deliver and sustain concrete results
- Facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement across silos
- Develop client reports, dashboards, and communication materials
- Participate in and lead internal initiatives and contribute to the organization and the Africa region's growth
