Join Fluxx as a Senior Project Manager and play a critical role in our Client Services Team. You will be the primary client contact, managing all aspects of project implementation from planning to completion. This full-time, remote position requires 10+ years of project management experience, including SaaS software and client-facing roles. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 10+ years of professional project management or relevant experience, which includes at least 2 years experience project managing in the following areas: managing SAAS software projects, participating in and/or driving implementations, and working in a client facing project role
  • Be meticulously detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, quickly process information, and demonstrate a dedication to ensuring and maintaining the quality of the end product
  • Have the inherent ability to think two (maybe even three) steps ahead of the client and take proactive steps to address roadblocks, issues, and distractions internally and with the client
  • Be a team player, even tempered, empathetic, and a good collaborator
  • Possess strong project management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Have a track record of being a team player and leader with strong interpersonal skills and a talent for collaboration
  • Have experience with managing key stakeholders and working with senior leadership
  • Be a problem-solver who has a demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with creative solutions
  • Excel at both written and verbal communication
  • Have the ability to work on many projects concurrently and to manage tight deadlines, and a willingness to accept a wide range of responsibilities
  • Be a self-motivated, independent worker and thinker with a positive attitude
  • Possess strong technical acumen and familiarity with productivity tools
  • Have strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Be well versed and experienced in all aspects of project management
  • Execute projects according to a determined timeline, methodology, scope, and budget
  • Track and report on progress to Fluxx management and with the client project team and key stakeholders
  • Flag, mitigate and manage risks
  • Diffuse issues or risks and escalate them when appropriate
  • Maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with clients and turn the data gathered in these sessions into functional requirements and user stories
  • Communicate effectively, understanding the significance and appropriate use of tone and mediums based on circumstance and audience and proactively communicate with the client and key stakeholders
  • Serve as the face of the organization to the client and address all requests, small or large in a timely and professional manner
  • Facilitate sessions with project stakeholders to outline scope, goals, deliverables, resource needs, and timelines
  • Skillfully push back on client requests and say no while gaining their trust and consensus around tough decisions
  • Track and document everything that happens on the project, then report on it to the project team and stakeholders
  • Conduct demos and training as needed
  • Understand what a change order is and when it is appropriate, and be able to develop it internally and sell the client on it
  • Help develop tools, best practices, and documentation for project management and related processes, as necessary
  • Support your team with testing, user stories and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with grant management processes
  • Familiarity with Foundation, Non-profit, Social Impact space
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and grant-making software
