Summary

Join Pattern Data, a company using AI to rapidly analyze medical records, as a Project Manager. You will collaborate with attorneys and other team members to develop, implement, and manage settlement programs for mass torts and class actions. Responsibilities include building project plans, communicating with stakeholders, administering platform settings, leveraging client feedback, delivering program updates, managing priorities, drafting key documents, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, significant experience in a legal or client service environment, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities. Experience with mass tort and class action settlement programs, paralegal experience, and a Project Management Certification are preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years experience working in a legal environment and/or 7+ years experience working in a client service or software environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with pivot tables, and sorting and filtering data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with attorneys, in-house subject matter experts, and other team members to help develop, implement, and manage settlement programs in mass torts and class actions
  • Build project plans to manage and track goals, tasks, and dependencies to ensure the programs progress to plan
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to share work progress and resolve obstacles
  • Administer platform settings tailored to settlement programs, including workflow and detection configurations
  • Leverage client feedback and the necessary solutions to enhance the efficiency of claims processing, informing product management and roadmap decisions in the process
  • Deliver programs updates through data, conveying claims processing progress relative to benchmarks, and adeptly gauge and express problems in a data-centric manner
  • Manage time and priorities efficiently between moving pieces of a project or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Draft key documents, including correspondence to program participants, their counsel, and the court; and written protocols and procedures related to specific settlement programs
  • Provide support to internal executive in charge of the settlement program
  • Prepare settlement program reports for management and clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with mass tort and class action settlement programs
  • Paralegal experience
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP)
