Join Climate KIC, a leading climate innovation initiative, as a Project Assistant or Project Manager for a 12-month contract, potentially extendable. Based in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, UK, Austria, or Spain, you will support the delivery of international climate innovation projects. The role involves managing project planning, execution, and stakeholder relationships. You will coordinate events, manage finances, and contribute to project reporting and communication. Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with project management, including experience in complex projects (β¬1m and higher), ideally in the public or private sector
- Project Assistants would typically have 2-3 years of relevant prior experience, Project Manager at least 4 years
- Hands-on experience in managing incubation or acceleration programmes, or relevant entrepreneurial experience, including working with business incubators, accelerators, or similar ecosystems; or experience with grant management
- Experience in organising and facilitating individual and group (virtual) events, with the ability to manage these autonomously
- Proven ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with stakeholders across diverse geographies and sectors
- Experience in digitalising project and administrative processes, including the use of modern digital tools for project management and workflows
- Experience in growing communities of partners
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to self-organise, manage time effectively, and prioritise a varied workload
- Fluency in English is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in facilitating discussions and working collaboratively with diverse teams
- Experience working with collaborative IT applications such as Office365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce CRM, AcceleratorApp, Miro, Zoom, Mentimeter, and Forms

Responsibilities
- Supporting and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of climate innovation programmes and projects
- Coordinating and delivering activities such as virtual or in-person events, workshops, capacity-building sessions, and stakeholder meetings
- Managing relationships with programme partners, delivery collaborators, and networks across multiple countries
- Supporting the production and management of project resources, content, and reporting materials for funders, partners, and public audiences
- Coordinating project finances, assisting with budget tracking, procurement processes, and financial reporting
- Leading or supporting outreach and communication campaigns to raise the visibility of projects and engage relevant audiences
- Managing administrative and logistical tasks, including documentation, data management, and event coordination
- Contributing to project Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities and helping to generate insights for ongoing improvement
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to refine project management practices and operational processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 or similar) are a plus
- Fluency in French and/or Spanish (both oral and written) is a plus
- Knowledge or experience in topics related to climate change, innovation, sustainability, or the circular economy is desirable but not essential

- Ideally, the successful candidate will be based close to one of the Climate KIC offices, but we support fully remote or hybrid forms of working and offer a high degree of flexibility
