Summary

Join PIPECARE as a Project Manager to oversee operational projects at corporate and subsidiary levels. Manage projects involving resource mobilization to Oil & Gas fields, pipeline servicing, field surveys, equipment demobilization, and reporting. Lead project teams, control budgets, and prepare various reports. Responsibilities include discussing equipment needs, reporting non-compliances, attending training courses, analyzing project documents, building client relationships, and managing team execution of field work safely and efficiently. You will also coordinate field activities between different parties and visit client sites for meetings and surveys. The role requires a degree in Engineering and 10 years of operational planning experience in the Oil and Gas sector.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 10 years of operation planning experience
  • Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
  • Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level
  • Fluency in English, the language of the Territory is an advantage
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, sign and submit pigging report, daily report and other relevant reports to Project Manager
  • Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc
  • Report non-compliances, near-misses, etc
  • Attend safety and technical and professional development courses / trainings
  • Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
  • Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations
  • Manage and develop the team to execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with time, resource and financial planning
  • Attend safety and technical and professional development courses / trainings
  • Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
  • Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations
  • Manage and develop the team to execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with time, resource and financial planning
  • Is authorized to stop execution of any work at site if it is unsafe or may create unsafe work conditions
  • Coordinate field activities between LIN SCAN team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties
  • Visit client’s sites (site kick-off meetings, field surveys, risk assessment review meetings, etc.)
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by POM and/or Executive Team within the assigned job role
