As a Project Manager, you will report to the PMO lead and play a key role in implementing projects, managing software implementations, defining project scope and deliverables, and managing project resources. You will develop full-scale project plans, assemble and coordinate project staff, plan and schedule timelines, track deliverables, manage risks and issues, provide direction to the team, monitor and report on progress, present reports, implement changes, and conduct project evaluations. This role requires collaboration with various partners and providing feedback for process and product improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics or related field or study (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • 5+ years healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • 5+ project management experience
  • 2+ years leading full life cycle implementations
  • PMP required (or must attain within 1 year)
  • Healthcare industry experience with in-depth knowledge of hospital operations
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management
  • Superior collaboration, flexibility and responsiveness
  • 10-25% nationwide travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables, manage risks and issues using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction to project team
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all partners
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Provide feedback to internal team and development regarding process and product improvement
