Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in resource management, project management, consulting operations, or related fields
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to balance resource coordination and project management
  • Proficiency in resource management tools, project tracking software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret resource and project performance data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage resource allocation across all Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and transformation projects
  • Collaborate with VPs, Directors, and Project Managers to assess resource needs, ensuring optimal consultant deployment
  • Maintain real-time visibility into consultant availability, skill sets, and project requirements
  • Engage with external resource partners and contractors to fill staffing gaps when internal capacity is limited
  • Support onboarding of new resources, ensuring smooth integration into project teams
  • Lead and manage select consulting projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, timeline, and budget
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and partners, to align project expectations
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and risks, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, providing updates to consulting leadership and project teams
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer throughout project lifecycles
  • Develop and maintain resource tracking tools to provide visibility into current and future staffing needs
  • Generate reports on resource utilization, project workloads, and staffing trends, making data-driven recommendations
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Work with consulting leadership to enhance resource management and project execution processes
  • Contribute to the development of scalable workforce planning strategies that align with Longbow’s growth
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and senior leadership to align staffing decisions with business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience in WMS, supply chain, IT consulting, or enterprise software implementations
