Summary
Join VetsEZ as a remote Project Scheduler to manage and maintain project schedules for IT initiatives. You will collaborate with project managers and technical teams to develop, monitor, and update schedules, ensuring on-time and within-budget project delivery. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of experience as a project scheduler. Proficiency in scheduling tools like Microsoft Project is essential, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in project management or a related field
- A minimum of two years' experience as a project scheduler in a related industry
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent software
- Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and resource planning
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for IT initiatives using scheduling tools like Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to define tasks, dependencies, and timelines
- Track project progress, update schedules, and communicate status reports to stakeholders
- Monitor resource allocation and flag potential conflicts or bottlenecks
- Conduct critical path analyses and provide recommendations to ensure project timelines are met
- Identify risks, delays, and work with project managers to develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure schedules align with project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Facilitate regular scheduling meetings to gather updates, address changes, and refine plans
- Prepare schedule related documentation and reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal agencies
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic project environments
- Ability to obtain government clearance
