Property Accountant

Summary

Join Zipdev as a Property Accountant and contribute to a U.S.-based real estate investment firm. This remote position requires strong accounting skills, Yardi experience, and a deep understanding of real estate financial reporting. You will work directly with the Controller to ensure accurate property-level accounting and support the broader finance team.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within real estate or property management
• Solid understanding of GAAP and U.S. accounting practices
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Currently living in LATAM

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries and month-end reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and sales tax filings
• Prepare monthly financial packages and perform bank reconciliations
• Handle CAM estimates and reconciliations for assigned properties
• Set up new properties in Yardi and verify lease/tenant data
• Support debt tracking, budget entry, and owner distributions
• Collaborate on ad hoc reporting and financial analysis projects

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Yardi (strongly preferred)
